Georgian PM Vano Merabishvili met with a delegation from China on
Monday, Trend reports.
According to the report of the state administrative office, the
delegation consists of representatives of the Chinese Council of
Internal Trade Promotion and of Chinese companies.
The parties have discussed the broadening of bilateral economic
relations and the increase of Chinese investments in the Georgian economy,
in particular in the industrial and financial sectors.
The Prime Minister stressed exports of Georgian agricultural production and
other goods to the Chinese market and the promotion of the number of
Chinese tourists to Georgia as well as the broadening of
communications between the countries.
The parties also discussed the use of Georgian territories to export Chinese products to Europe.
