Armenian Treasury reports on 2011 defense expenses

In 2011, the budget expenses of Armenia in the defense sphere were 145.5 billion drams ($357.3 million). The program was fulfilled by 99.4%. It is said in the Armenian state budget report presented by the Treasury in the National Assembly of Armenia, News.am reports. The defense expenses were discussed at the closed session in the parliament.

In comparison with the previous year defense expenses were reduced by 1.4%. It is explained by reduction of necessity in defense demands.
