SOCAR to start drilling in Israel

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will start drilling in Israel at the end of October, News-Azerbaijan reports.

"Preparations for drilling are finished and the Israeli government has already given permission for drilling," the CEO of the Caspian Drilling Company (SOCAR's subsidiary company), Farid Akhundov, is quoted as saying.
