Dagestan has collected 720,300 tons of vegetables at 24,500 hectares, RIA Dagestan reports.
The harvest this year exceeds that of 2011 by 60,400 tons. Farmers collected 237,700 tons of potatoes, 42,600 tons of corn, 7,300 tons of sunflowers, 5,400 tons of rice.
The Babayurtovsky, Kizlyarsky, Tarumovsky, Khasavyurtovsky, Magaramkentsky, Tabasaransky and other districts are preparing forage. They have harvested 30,500 – 102,000 tons of forage.
