Russian parliament to consider budget of 2013 before October 1

 

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that talks for 2013 will be presented to the lower chamber of parliament before October 1, RIA Novosti reports.

The PM reminded that the budget will remain social and formed with account of the complicated economic situation.

Medvedev noted that healthcare will receive 2.5 trillion rubles, education 627 billion rubles. Universities will receive 8 billion rubles for development. Financing of science foundations will increase by 2.5 billion rubles in 2013, by 4 billion in 2014 and by 6 billion in 2015.

About 100 billion rubles will be spent on cultural development annually. Over 380 billion rubles will be provided from the consolidated budget.

About 500 billion rubles will be spent on agriculture, according to a program until 2020. Over 400 billion rubles were reserved as donations for regions. The sum does not include the 100 billion rubles of additional support they receive annually.
