SOCAR exports 207 million cubic meters of gas in first half-year to Georgia

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported about 207 million cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas to Georgia in the period from January to June, Business Gruzia cites a SOCAR publication.

In June SOCAR exported more than 11.5 million cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas to Georgia.

An agreement between Azerbaijan and Georgia, according to which the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic could increase its participation in the Georgian market, was signed in November 2008.
