The Russian Ministry for Finances has called the Chechen budget most efficient, the Chechen government reports.
The ministry will provide 95.7 million rubles to the republic as a reward.
The second highest efficiency was achieved by the Orenburg Region (81.6 million rubles of reward), then the Bryansk Region (81.2 million) and Komi (76.8 million.
1 billion rubles were provided to encourage budget efficiency. Evaluation of efficiency bases on 45 criteria. The Ministry for Finances has been making the evaluations for Russian regions since 2011. The Altai Territory was topping the list in 2011, rewarded with 85.3 million rubles.
