Syria stopped buying Turkish electricity a week ago, Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said, Trend reports.
Turkey announced plans to continue supplying Syria with electricity earlier, although their deal had expired in late June 2012.
Syria was buying 232.2 million KW/h from Turkey monthly.
