Iran hopes to encounter no fuel shortages in winter

Hamid Chitchyan, an advisor of the Iranian Energy Ministry, expressed hope that the country will suffer no fuel shortages for power plants in the upcoming winter, Trend reports.

The official noted that gas consumption in houses increases and fuel shortages may occur. He added that reconstruction at power plants is ongoing at full efficiency.

Chitchyan said that power plants had collected enough fuel reserves for the winter.
