BP will continue cooperation with the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic (SOCAR) and development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Field.
SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and BP Executive Director Robert Dudley met in London.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev accused BP of major mistakes made in the first 9 months of 2012 at a roundup of socio-economic results at the Cabinet. Aliyev said that BP was to blame for reduction of oil extraction at the Azeri and Chirag Fields. Azerbaijan could have received $8 billion.
