Turkmen parliament passes budget for 2013

 

The Turkmen parliament has passed the budget for 2013. Income was set at 86.3358 billion manats, expenses at 89.7358 billion manats.

Wages and social allowances will be increase by 10%, pensions by 15%. 47.4 billion manats will be spent on industry, socio-cultural spheres of economics.

Income will come from petroleum, chemistry, electricity, construction. Agriculture, transportation, communications, textile and food industry will be developed.

Large funds will be granted for construction of the Avaz tourism zone.

Most budget expenses in 2013 will be caused by centralized capital investments. They will be increased by 42% to 9.1 billion manats, compared with 2012. Financing of education will increase by 15.7%, healthcare by 10.8%, culture by 22.6%.

Turkmenistan had 74.9084 billion manats of income and 76.3984 billion manats in 2012.

The currency rate is $1 = 2.85 manats.
