Azerbaijan has rounded up the international tender for construction and supplying of the new port at Alyaty, Trend reports.
The tender was announced on March 7. Azerkerpu and the Azerbaijani Transportation Ministry signed a deal on October 19.
The new port construction started 65 km south of Baku in November 2010. Work is carried out in 3 stages and should be completed by 2015. The port will have a turnover of up to 11.6 million tons of cargo annually.
