The National Development Fund of Iran and a set of Iranian banks plan to issue $4 billion of credits to businessmen engaged in agriculture to continue projects next year (starting on March 20, 2013, in Iran), Deputy Minister for Agriculture Alireza Oranji said, Trend reports.
Mohammad Talebi, Managing Director of the Iranian Agricultural Bank, said that Iran had launched 4724 projects for water and land resources, animal husbandry, natural resources, agricultural industry, scientific research and development.
The National Development Fund, the Iranian Agricultural Bank and banks such as Sepah and Saderat will provide the finances, Oranji notes.
