Oil extraction at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Field (ACG) has increased to 705,000 barrels daily since criticism of BP-Azerbaijan by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Turan reports.
Extraction in mid-September amounted to 660,000 barrels. Average daily extraction in general amounted to 684,000 barrels.
SOCAR and BP authorities held a meeting in London and then in Baku. BP-Azerbaijan had two vice presidents replaced, 10 BP specialists arrived in Baku. The two companies agreed on a new form of cooperation within the consortium.
Extraction increased by about 45,000 barrels (6.8%).
