Iranian business invests in power plants

The Iranian Bank of Industry and Mining has invested about €1.4 billion in construction of 19 substations producing electricity in the last 3 years, Trend reports.

Launch of the facilities provided about 900 workplaces.

Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namjoo said that Iran said that Iran was planning to increase power output to 70 GW by the end of the year on March 20, 2013. The minister said that 8 power plants will be built by private investors. 3 of them were under construction.
