Sergey Boyev, the director general of the RTI, said at the Moscow International Forum of Innovative Development that the company will produce a number of radar stations with high operational systems of early warning in the south-eastern and northern directions by 2018, Interfax reports.
Such stations have already been installed in Armavir (Krasnodar Territory) and in the Leningrad region, as well as in the Orenburg region and near Barnaul.
Earlier Russian president Vladimir Putin has claimed that the Defense Ministry had to keep control of the issues related to the development of infrastructure of the Aerospace Defense Forces.
