The Chambers of Commerce of Iran and Belarus agree on mutual understanding

The Chambers of Commerce of Iran and Belarus have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to ensure the expansion of economic relations between the two countries.

The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture of Iran, Yahia El Elshad, noted that the agreement is very important due to the security of the economic market of Belarus. This allows Iranian businessmen to build their companies in the country.

The chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce also noted the positive potential for the development of economic relations between Iran and Belarus. He stressed that the current trade volume between the two countries was $104 million and this figure will increase significantly if economic ties develop.

In recent months, Tehran and Minsk have been actively promoting cooperation in various fields. Trade turnover has increased recently. Among notable areas of cooperation are engineering and construction projects.
