Baku is hosting the 18th Bakutel-2012 Exhibition of communication and information technologies attended by President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban today.
The exhibition stresses on space industry, ground controls of satellites and staff training. A stand of Azerkosmos is available. The company plans launch of Azersat, the first Azerbaijani communication satellite, in 2013.
Over 160 companies from 23 countries of the world are attending the exhibition. Slovenia is making its first attendance.
