Kazakhstan, Belarus to increase trade turnover

Kazakh and Belarusian Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov and Mikhail Myasnikovich have signed a memorandum on formation of a joint industrial and technical park of agricultural and communal vehicles, News Kazakhstan reports.

A chemical industry project worth about $1 billion will be organized at Mogilyovkhimvolokno. A factory for mining trucks, combined harvesters, tractors will be founded.

Akhmetov said that all issues will be reflected in agreements and memorandums Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will sign. He added that trade turnover of about $800 million was not enough and should reach $1 billion.
