This year, Agygean agriculture has harvested 350 thousand tons of grain that
will meet the demand of the republic, the republic's minister of
agriculture Yuri Petrov said.
This year there were 100 tons of bread less than last year because of
the worse weather conditions. "But the areas that were damaged by
frost were immediately planted with sunflowers and corn, so the harvest
was replenished. Since grain prices grew this year,
profitabillity was even higher than last year," YuGA.ru cites the
minister.
Petrov added that the summer was generally good and the conditions for
harvesting were optimal.
