The Ministry of Natural Resources of Serbia, Milan Bacevic, said today
at the 11th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee
for Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation that the
"South Stream" might be given the status of a national project in
December in Serbia, Interfax reports.
The Minister of Energy of Russia, Alexander Novak, said he hopes all
issues related to the South Stream will soon be resolved in Serbia. He
said that construction of the Serbian section that will cost 1.7
billion euros is expected to begin in December.
