Georgian Minister for Energy Kakha Kaladze said that a delegation of Inter RO UES will visit Georgia to discuss reduction of tariffs and consider the fate of the Telasi hunger strikers.
The Ministry for Energy will present a deal with Inter RAO on imports of Russian electricity for winter.
Inter RAO owns 75.08% of shares of the Telasi electricity distributor in Tbilisi, the Khrami-1 and Khrami-2 dams and some other facilities.
Telasi services about 454,000 consumers and provides them with up to 2 billion KW/h annually. About 150 former employees of Telasi started a hunger strike in October for being fired.
