The gas supply of the central heating companies in Adygea was restored
yesterday, a representative of Gazprom's local daughter
company, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Maikop, Alexandr Yakovlev said.
Gas supplies to 12 utility enterprises were stopped because
of debts to Gazprom that had reached 200 million rubles by the end of
the last heating season.
The decision of Gazprom to restore supplies was provoked by the
announcement of one of the companies in debt, ATEC, guaranteeing
payment of the debt.
Other companies are solving the problem in other ways - to cover their
debts they will transfer control over their gas lines, which were built
at the expense of the municipal authorities.
