Russian Railways (RR) imposed restrictions to oil freighting to Black Sea ports in Tuapse and Novorossiysk due to preparations for the Olympic Games in Sochi, UCL Ports spokesman Vladimir Lisin said, Vedomosti reports.
Passenger traffic to Sochi and back has halved since the end of the resort season.There were 35-37 pairs of trains during the summer and only 14 now.
Officials of the RR and Olimpstroy gave no explanations to why they limited railway traffic.
