Krasnodar will not host the 2018 FIFA World Championship. Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov and the main investor of the Kuban FC, Oleg Mkrtchyan, discussed a new stadium construction with Italians, Interfax reports.
The stadium will be designed by Synthesis (Italy), designer of the Liverpool Stadium (UK) and the Juventus Stadium (italy). Construction will start in 2013 and have the first football match in mid-2016.
