European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) president Thomas Mirow arrived in Armenia on Thursday as part of a three-day visit to the South Caucasus, the Novosti-Armenia news agency said, citing a bank statement.Mirow will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, as well as Economics Minister Nerses Yeritsyan, Finance Minister Tigran Davtian and Central Bank head Arthur Javadian.
This is Mirow’s first visit to Armenia since becoming EBRD president in July, 2008. He will also visit the Azerbaijani capital of Baku (March 16), and the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, (March 17).
