Ukraine reduces custom fees for Georgian mandarins

 

As reported today by the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Zaur

Putkaradze, the Georgian authorities have reached an agreement with Ukraine on

the reduction of customs tariffs on mandarins imported from Georgia.

 

Under the agreements, the import fee on each ton of mandarins will

only be $600 instead of $1100. The minister said that talks on the

issue lasted for about a week.

 

According to Putkaradze, similar negotiations are now being held with

Azerbaijan, Armenia and Belarus.
