Negotiations on Azerbaijan's accession to WTO to be held next week

On December 7, the tenth round of multilateral negotiations on the
accession of Azerbaijan to the WTO will take place.

"At the moment Canada, the U.S., the EU and Norway have so far expressed
their desire to engage in bilateral talks with Azerbaijan," the head
of the negotiating group, Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliye
said.

Negotiations on Azerbaijan's accession to the WTO began in 2004.


Protocols have already concluded negotiations with Turkey, the
Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
