South Ossetia plans to triple budget income in three years to reduce dependence on Russia. The budget totals 6 billion rubles, only 0.5 billion of which come from own economy, Prime Minister Rostik Khugayev told the Yuzhnaya Osetia paper.
The Cabinet passed an investment program for 2013-2015. It will open 3,000 workplaces, including 750 workplaces in small and medium-scale business. The program will focus on social infrastructure, launch of new industry, mining, production of beer and bricks.
