Poland to help Azerbaijan build subway

 

Tines Director General Tomas Suba (Poland) has offered to help Azerbaijan expand its subway network, Trend reports.

Suba said that his company had realized projects in Warsaw, Russia, Alma-Ata and Kiev.

The Baku subway has 2 lines, 23 stations and 34.6 km of railways. Expansion of the subway will increase lines to 5, number of stations to 76, railway length to 119 km.

Suba said in Krakow that Tines was also interested in construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway and offered assistance to build railway crossings for cars.
