Belarus bans imports of Russian poultry

 

On December 1, Belarus banned imports of poultry from the Krasnodar

region of Russia due to bird flu.

 

"In the Krasnodar region of Russia cases of type A, subtype

H5 bird flu were reported among wild birds," the Department of

veterinary surveillance of the Ministry of Agricultural and Food of

Belarus said,  "Interfax" reports.

 

Restrictions apply to the import of birds, hatching eggs, down and

feathers, poultry meat and all types of poultry products, feed and

feed additives for animals, as well as equipment used for keeping,

slaughtering and butchering poultry from the Krasnodar region.
