Turkey will continue purchasing Iranian gas regardless of UN sanctions, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He noted that Iran was the second largest gas exporter to Turkey, with Russia being the first.
Turkey imports 8 million tons of oil and 8 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
