Russia confirms rescuing of Volgo Balt 199 sailor

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed presence of a Russian sailor on the Volgo Balt 199 dry-cargo ship. Turkish rescuers have saved four sailors, including a Russian one.

Volgo Balt 199 was built in 1976. Its owner is Baltwave 199 Ltd., operator Walship. The ship was sailing under the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
