An official delegation of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany will visit Azerbaijan on 18th and 23rd July, Trend reports, citing the information of the German-Azerbaijani economic unity organisation (DAWF). The main event of the visit is the 11th economic forum, to be held in Baku on July 19th.
The delegation will consist of 18 German companies, specializing in construction, technologies, environment, renewable energy, food technology, agriculture, banking and finance. They will look at business opportunities and expand their network in Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani minister of agriculture, the minister for economic development, representatives of the Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), the state investment agency and the Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany will make reports. After the closing of the forum, the German companies will hold bilateral negotiations on cooperation with Azerbaijani partners, discussing business opportunities.
