The airline company "Kuban" has stopped operating flights as of
midnight December 11,
2012. This statement was made by the directors of the company.
"This a necessary measure," ITAR-TASS cites the general director
of the airline "Kuban" Sergei Mordvintsev. "We took this step
only because of a confluence of adverse circumstances,"
the head of the airline said.
However, the agency emphasizes that the main reason for
operations being stopped is the difficult financial situation and the
inability to follow a number of provisions of the new Federal
Aviation Regulations that came into force at the end of November
2012. According to them, a park carrier conducting scheduled air
services should consist of no less than 8 aircraft with a capacity
of 55 or more passenger
seats.
