On the territory of the new Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport a free economic zone will be established, an official website of the President of Azerbaijan reports.
Recall that in the course of reconstruction of the Baku airport it is expected to build a new runway into operation, as well as new hangars, and a new navigation tower. The total area of the airport complex after reconstruction will amount to 58 thousand square kilometers while the passenger traffic will increase to 3 million people a year.
