Iran to invest 400 million euros in energy facilities in Armenia

The cost of the construction of the Megres power station in the south of Armenia is estimated at $350 million, the minister for energy and natural resources of Armenia, Armen Movsisyan said, Arka reports.

The construction works will be carried out by the consortium of Iranian companies Farat-Sepasat. The power capacity of the station will amount 140 MW. An agreement on the construction of a power line was also signed with Iran, and the cost of this project is estimated at 100-105 million euros.
