The Makhachkala Airport closed two days ago and has about 30 departure delays for about 3,000 people, RIA Novosti reports.
Clearing of the runway started at 7 am with 10 vehicles used. The airport is expected to open at 11 am. Although the opening may be shifted to 2 pm.
