Turkey passed the bill allowing foreigners to purchase real estate in Turkey in 2012. About 6,000 units of real estate have been purchased since then. Germany, Russia, UK and Arab states are the top buyers.
Azerbaijani citizens bought 50 units of real estate in the provinces of Istanbul, Izmir and Mugla.
Each foreigner may buy up to 60 hectares of land.
