Turkish parliament ratifies agreement on first nuclear plant

The Turkish parliament ratified a Russian-Turkish agreement on constructing the country“s first nuclear power plant on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports, citing the parliament“s press-service.


The project involves the construction of four energy blocks producing 1.2 gigawatts of energy to be launched in 2016-2019.
