Vladimir Yevtushenkov, head of Sistema, believes that MTS may return to Uzbekistan in 2013, Gazeta.ru reports.
Uzbekistan nullified the license of MTS subsidiary Uzdunrobity in July 2012 due to numerous violations of service terms. A criminal case was initiated after an inspection of the company. Its assets were confiscated by the government.
