Mussa Suri, managing director of the Pars Company, said that Iran will increase gas extraction at the South Pars Field to 180 million cubic meters daily before March 19, 2014, Mehr reports.
Over $7 billion have been invested in the gas field since March 20, 2012. $10 billion more will be invested before March 20, 2013.
South Pars holds about 14 trillion cubic meters of gas, equivalent to about 8% of world gas reserves.
