Georgian Energy Ministry to build thermal power station in Samtskhe-Javakheti

The Georgian Energy Ministry is considering building a power plant in Tkibuli, Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze said in an interview to the Caucasia TV company, Trend reports.

He said the station should meet European and environmental security standards.

Kaladze also emphasised the importance of using wind power. He said projects in the alternative energy field will be implemented in Samtskhe-Javakheti.
