Governor of the Syunik Province of Armenia Suren Khachatryan signed four memorandums of understanding for economic cooperation with the Eastern Azerbaijan Province of Iran.
Both regions will cooperate in animal breeding, veterinary services, formation of joint agricultural companies. Iran will provide Armenia with harvesters, tractors and fertilizers.
Khachatryan met Sadeg Najafly, head of the Organization of the Aras Free Trade and Industry Zone, and discuss formation of a joint economic zone.
