Turkey cancels order for building 8 vessels in South Korea

Turkish shipping company Geden Lines has canceled an order to build 8 vessels for shipping food products in the South Korean Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. The contract was signed in the second half of 2007, reports 1news.az, citing the Turkish press.
Delivery of the 37,000 ton vessels was planned for 2009-2011, but it was delayed for more than 18 months. Geden Lines ships goods all over the world. Geden has a fleet of 28 vessels.
