Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will represent the country at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Vice Premier Arkady Dvorkovich said. It will be Medvedev’s third attendance of the forum.
The PM will present the priorities of Russia as a G8 member. He will meet officials of the world business council and the media council to give information in an informal atmosphere.
Medvedev will meet foreign leaders in the evening of the first day of the forum.
The Russian delegation includes Dvorkovich, Medvedev, Minister for Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov, Deputy Minister for Economic Development Sergey Belyakov, Deputy Minister for Finances Sergey Storchak, officials of the government, governors, business structures, associations, expert institutes, companies.
Davos has been hosting the World Economic Forum annually since 1971 to discuss global economic affairs. The forum will be held on January 23-27, 2013.
