As a result of today's Russian-Georgian talks on the resumption of
supply of Georgian wines to the Russian market, the head of
Rospotrebnadzor, Gennady Onishchenko, said that his department is not
yet ready to import Georgian wines in Russia.
During the talks it has been agreed that Russian specialists will
visit Georgia in about a week to discuss further the resumption of
supplies of Georgian wines to the Russian market, RIA Novosti reports.
Rospotrenadzor banned Georgian wines and mineral water from Russia in
the spring of 2006.
