Increase of consumer prices in Azerbaijan in January totaled 1.2%, APA reports.
Prices increased for bread, macaroni, fish, olive oil, sour cream, tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, potatoes. Prices dropped for rice, buckwheat, chicken, turkey, butter, sugar, bananas, mushrooms, carrots. Prices rose for clothes and shoes, kitchen furniture and dropped for camcorders, mixers and light bulbs.
