Iran has built a 100-km pipeline to gasify its eastern areas. The project is worth about $36 million, Mehr reports.
Mohammad-Reza Garavi, a spokesman of the National Gas Company of Iran, said on January 16 that 89% houses in Iran were gasified. Over 937 cities and 13150 villages had gas connection.
