Chechen Deputy Minister for Agriculture Magomed Gaplayev, President of the Association of Farmers and Agricultural Cooperatives Lechi Tatayev, director of the department for plant-growing, chemicalization and mechanization of the Agriculture Ministry Khan-Pasha Matuyev and farmers attended a conference in Grozny, the Chechen government reports.
Tatayev said that farmers gained support in solving various problems, they were having seminars and consultations on purchases of agricultural equipment and field condition.
The Association of Farmers and Agricultural Cooperatives met Russian Vice Premier Victor Zubkov and solved the problem of mine-sweeping at agricultural lands.
Attendants of the conference decided to work on expanding the association. The Rossiyskaya Zemlya and Rossiyskiy Fermer publications will be distributed among farmers to inform them about documents concerning agriculture.
